2016 Challenge

2016 Hoka Hey Riders
Icimani

Embodying the spirit of the traditional vision quest (i.e., a deep, inward search for transformation and insight), ICIMANI compelled riders to face and overcome obstacles and encouraged participants to journey into a deep and critical examination of their own motives, actions and beliefs and then to translate newfound strength and confidence into a willingness to act on behalf of others.

The 2016 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge™ followed a new route to cover some new ground that spanned coast to coast from Pala, CA to Irving, NY. and exceeded 9,500 miles. Icimani is the Lakota word for "Journey" and this was a journey that tested the mettle of every rider. These riders not only taxed their own bodies during the ride but many also went a few steps further and raised funds for a number of charities spanning the United States; raising a combined total that exceeded $100,000.00.
